I'm still not sure if this song has a bass in it at all! The guitar tab
at OLGA by "John Doe" states the use of 4 guitars. In any case, I wanted
to play it on the bass, so this is what I came up with- try it. The beat
count above the tab is my attempt to show some kind of timing.(:=repeat)
Play this over the Intro, Verse 1 and Verse 2. Hold the notes on the
first, third and fourth down beats.

For the chorus, it sounds nice and chunky to play each beat. (I also
"release mute" with my left hand on all but the open notes and the
F#'s at the end of the riff)

Verse 3 starts out the same as Verse 1 and 2, then changes to follow the
pattern of the chorus when the vocals kick in.

After the second chorus comes the guitar solo. Rather than going back to
the same old single notes over the changes, I strum power chords on the
upper part of the neck. Here are the positions. Strum once on the first
down beat and again on the next two up beats like this:

After the solo, come out and play these notes over the last Verse
(which is just the chorus sung as a verse).

After the last chorus, go back to the chord strumming twice and end on

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official 3 DOORS DOWN tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
