Intro
(Note: there's another guitar playing in the background too, but I can't figure it out.
Another possibility is that they added an effect to the guitar. If anybody knows
e-mail me, please.)
E-----------------------------------
B------0----------------------------
G----------------------------0------
D----2-----2-0---------4---4----4---
A--------3-------3/5-----5-----5--5-
E--0--------------------------------
repeat 4x before drums come in.
Just repeat this through out the whole song except when the electric guitar comes in.
Electric guitar
Right before starting the power chords
do a quick palm mute slide on the low E string: 11\2
E5 G5 D5
E--x----x----x--x--x--x----x--x--x----x--x--
B--x----x----x--x--x--x----x--x--x----x--x--
G--x----x----x--x--x--7----7--x--7----7--7--

A--2----2----2--5--x--5----5--x--5----5--5--
E--0----0----0--3--x--x----x--x--x----x--x--
play this 8 times, but on the 8th time do a palm mute on the
E5 and G5 and let the D5 ring.
If you have any questions or corrections please feel free to e-mail me.

Thanks to Alistair Hill for getting me started
in all this guitar stuff!
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official 3 DOORS DOWN tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
