(A)No smiles, not a single word at the (C#m)breakfast table
(D)Though I would have (Dm)liked to begin (A) (Dm7) (E7)
(A)So much that I wanna say, but I (C#m)feel unable
(D)You leave and (Dm)slam the door
(A)Like you've done many (Dm)times before
(A)And I (F#m)cry and I (Bm)feel (A)so (D)help(Esus4)less
(A)One man, (E)one woman
(D)Two friends and (A)two true lovers
(D)Somehow we'll (A)help each other (F#m)through the hard times(Esus4)
(E)One man, one woman(D)
One life to (A)live together
(D)One chance to (A)take that never (E)comes back again(F#m)
(D)You and (B7)me, (E)to the end
Outside I can see the sun through the open window
Inside everything feels so cold
What's wrong, what is happening, where did all our love go
Sometimes when I just can't cope
I cling to a desperate hope
And I cry and I feel like dying
One man, one woman
Two friends and two true lovers
Somehow we'll help each other through the hard times
One man, one woman
One life to live together
One chance to take that never comes back again
You and me, to the end
Daydreams of a better life, but I have to wake up
The sound of a key in the door
You smile and I realise that we need a shake-up
Our love is a precious thing
Worth the pain and the suffering
And it's never too late for changing
One man, one woman
Two friends and two true lovers
Somehow we'll help each other through the hard times
One man, one woman
One life to live together
One chance to take that never comes back again
You and me, to the end
You and me, to the end
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official ABBA tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
