"Rock Steady"
by Paul Rodgers
From the album Bad Co
I saw OLGA had the lyrics for the song but no tab, so I figured I'd type
up what I have. It's a really simple song, actually.
Intro
E------------------------------------------------
B------------------------------------------------
G--5--------5--------5---------------5---7p5-----
D--5--------5--------5---------------5---7p5-----
A----0-0------0-0------0-0-----3-5-----0---------
E------------------------------------------------
The verse is along the same lines. Experiment a little!
E--------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------
G-------7p5-------7p5-----------5-----7------
D-------7p5-------7p5-----------5-----7------
A--0-0-------0-0-------0-0-3-5-----0---------
E--------------------------------------------
As far as I know the chorus is just C,D - which I play as barre chords.
I won't bother trying to tab out the picking pattern.
(actually, I think there¹s more than this, but this should be ok for
faking it!)
Turn on your [C]light and stay with [D]me a while
And [C]ease your worried [D]mind
Turn on your [C]light and stay with [D]me a while
And Rock Steady!
At the end play the 8th fret on the B string and bend it up 1/2 step.
That's most of the song. Pretty simple but fun, especially if
you're a BC fan.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official BAD COMPANY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
