G C
Sunday in Memphis it's hallelujah dawn
G
I can hear the angels singin
C G C
Such a beautiful song
G
Lost here in Memphis
C
Feeling so alone
G
I can hear the church bells ringing
C
Callin me back home
D C
Down on my luck
D C
Here on these sidewalks
G
It's Sunday in Memphis
C
And I'm down to my last prayer
G
Sunday in Memphis
C G C
And I'm wishing you were here
G
I can still remember
C
Every word she said
G
With every step that's taken
C
And every tear that's shed
D C
Fell down on my knees
D C
Said please forgive me lord won't you please
G
It's Sunday in Memphis
C
And I'm down to my last prayer
G
Sunday in Memphis
C G C
And I'm wishing you were here
D C
We all make mistakes sometimes
G
That's just the way it goes
D C D
But we can change and make it right I know
G
It's Sunday in Memphis
C
And I'm down to my last prayer
G
Sunday in Memphis
C G C
And I'm wishing you were here

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official BIG HOUSE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
