Song: Don't Fear The Reaper
Tabbed by Spike
Hey, this song is amazing. To you it may seem weak from it's appearence.
But hell, once you've listened to it, you'll fall in love with it. There's
also cello in there, and as I don't play the cello I could only do the guitar bit.
It sounds good to me...If you don't have the song...get it!
...Oh yeah, I tabbed it at 4am, and I worked out the lyrics myself.
(This is on the Scream soundtrack)

"Romeo and juliet..."
All of the patterns are there above, if you really want to play this song.
I suggest you sit there and work which bits go where. I've gave you the
basic layout. So just listen to it and try and work it out. It's more complicated
than you'd expect. The pieces are repeated throughout the song in different orders.
It's complicated, but those are the main pieces.
Lyrics:
All our times have come,
Here but now they're gone.
Seasons don't fear the reaper,
Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain
So come on baby, (don't fear the reaper)
Take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly, (don't fear the reaper)
Cause baby, I'm your man...
Baby, I'm your man...
Valentine is done,
Here but now they're gone.
Romeo and Juliet,
Are together in eternity (Romeo and Juliet)
40,000 men and women everyday (like Romeo and Juliet)
Another 40,000 everyday (we can be like they are)
So come on baby (don't fear the reaper)
Take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Cause baby, I'm your man...
Baby, I'm your man...
Romeo and Juliet,
Are together in eternity (Romeo and Juliet)
So come on baby (don't fear the reaper)
Take my hand (don't fear the reaper)
We'll be able to fly (don't fear the reaper)
Baby, I'm your man...
Baby, I'm your man...

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official BLUE OYSTER CULT tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
