PROPS GO TO: Pietro Comino
[intro]
D x 4
[Verse 1]
D
You can live in the house and I will find
G D
A little | place around | the corner ... uhuuu
D
Trouble comes from the strangest quarters
G D
It snuck up on us | now without | a warning
[Verse 2]
A G D
Every night I hang my head | outside into | the stars
A G
It’s a wonder I | can even talk at all
[Verse 1]
I walk by kids that hang on corners tripping out
afraid of what they’ll miss
late night I hear other voices crying out
I never wanted this
[Verse 2]
I played you all your favourite songs
Catch you when you fall
You look at me saying that’s not it at all
[Chorus]
D G A
Oh my | I can’t help wondering why | I blew it again
G
I let you down
D G A
I watched your | tears come splashing | all around
D G A
All my life | I feel like | I‘ve been blind
G
But the moments that shine
A
are so hard to find
[Verse 1]
Hey look those northern lights are dancing
Come o out and we’ll sit here on the lawn
We won’t talk we’ll only listen
Maybe we can stop what’s going on
[Verse 2]
Every night we look out on what’s left of all our dreams
It’s a wonder we still can talk at all
[Chorus]
Oh my I can’t help wondering why I blew it again
I let you down
I watched you tears come splashing on the ground
All my life I feel like I ‘ve been blind
But the moments that shine
are so hard to find
[outro]
D x 2, G x 2, A x 4
D x 2, D x 2
uhuuuu....
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official BLUE RODEO tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
