My personal favorite Bush song, "Alien" is once again mostly bass (this
is
transcribed elsewhere by moi), but I do have the chorus and strum-along
outro.
"Alien"
by Bush
from the album "Sixteen Stone"
Verse 1:
Satellite comes and goes
Give each other all we know
In silence we still talk
By the light of the stereo waltz
Will you rain down
In your cinematic love truck
Gonna hold you like
Nothing's gonna stop us
Chorus:
F# E G F#m
--2---2---2---2-------------------3---3---3---3---2---2---------
--2---2---2---2-------------------3---3---3---3---2---2---------
--3---3---3---3---1---1---1---1---4---4---4---4---2---2---------
--4---4---4---4---2---2---2---2---5---5---5---5---4---4---------
--4---4---4---4---2---2---2---2---5---5---5---5---4---4---------
--2---2---2---2-------------------3---3---3---3---2---2---------
And she come to take me away
She's all that I needed
I don't breathe another lover
Yeah
(BASS RIFF)
Verse 2:
Flicker on a TV screen
Everything's more than it seems
Mighty backward fall
Stare at the light on the wall
I swear to this
She felt like velvet
Second blonde child
Like velvet, velvet
CHORUS
Outro (strum these chords repeatedly. the outro is basically this.)
A D/F#

(T)humb, 3rd fret, low E string
I'm an alien
You're an alien
It's a beautiful rain, beautiful rain, beautiful rain
Beautiful

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official BUSH tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
