This song is mostly bass (transcribed elsewhere), but I have tabbed the
guitar
parts (since I'm such a HUGE fan of theirs...) "Comedown" consists of
basically
two riffs...
"Comedown"
by Bush
from the album "Sixteen Stone"
(BASS RIFF)
Riff 1 (Twice) :
------0-------0------0----------
--------0------0------0------0--
--6-6-----4-4-----2-2----3-3--3-
--6-6-----4-4-----2-2----4-4----
--4-4-----2-2-----0-0----4-4----
-------------------------2-2----
Verse 1:
Love and hate / Get it wrong
She cut me right back down to size
Sleep the day / Let it fade
Who was there to take your place?
RIFF 1
Know one knows / Never will
Mostly me / But mostly you
What do you say / Do you do
When it all comes down?
Chorus (twice) :
------------------------------------------------------------------------
---
------------------------------------------------------------------------
---
------------------------------------------------------------------------
---
--9----7----1-------9----7----3----4------------------------------------
---
--9----7----1-------9----7----3----4------------------------------------
---
--7----5----3-------7----5----1----2------------------------------------
---
'Cause I don't want to come back down from this cloud
It's taken me all this time to find out what I need
I don't want to come back down from this cloud
It's taken me all this, all this time
RIFF 1
Verse 2:
There is no blame / Only shame
When you beg you just complain
More I come / More I try
All police are paranoid
So am I / So's your future
So are you / Be a creature
What do you say? / What do you do?
When it all comes down
CHORUS
Love and hate / Get it wrong
She cut me right back down to size
Sleep the day / Let it fade
Who was there to take your place?
RIFF 1 (starts here, finishes up the verse):
No one knows, never will
Mostly me but mostly you
Do you say, do you do
When it all comes down
CHORUS
Well, that's it...Anyone who can figure out anything else (especially
the
outro), email me...Suggestions? Got the address...

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official BUSH tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
