CLUTCH - "raised by horses" Tablature
Official CLUTCH Tablature & Sheet Music »
Raised By Horses By Clutch, from their crank-ass record, "Jam Room."
In my opinion, this is one of Clutchs' best songs--a tirade against record
company execs and all that crap. Any old guitar and amp will do, but for optimum
sound reproduction, you'll need a 74' Gibson SG and a 120 watt Orange head and
4x12 cabinet. Transcribed By: Keith S. Byers (sreybk@yahoo.com)
This is the first riff: w/wah
Play 8 times. I know, I know, there's some background
noodling, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Raised By Horses:
I was eating dinner at the table, with people from the music industry,
They asked me if I liked it in "The City." I said I liked it better in
the country.
The label representative asked me what about it most appealed to me.
"I love to listen to the yellowhammer singing 'a little bit of bread
and no cheese'."
Then I comenced to do a tap dance on eggplant parmesan before their eyes.
Guided by voices, whole bag of trick. Raised by Druids and Horses.
(Then I told them):
"Never underestimate the power of love. You dig my new horsehoes?
Never underestimate the power of love."
"Come here quickly, he's lost his mind!"
"Frightened? Well, I'm not surprised, you've never seen the likes of me.
Check it, I want a big fat advance and my alfalfa free!"
"Come here quickly, he's lost his mind!"
The manager removed from the restaurant. A crowd got to gathering around.
I said, "You can throw a man out on his ear, but you can't keep a good horse
down!"
Mounted police sprung to action. Never cut me any bit of slack. But I wasn't
going anywhere 'til they got off my brother's back.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official CLUTCH tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
