This song is real easy once you get the hang of it. Listen to the song for the timing and rhythm. I haven't figured out the bridge yet, but once I do I'll post it. By the way 13 Ways To Bleed Onstage is by far one of the best cds I've bought in a while. It's incredible.
Drop D tuning: DADGBe
/=SLIDE
INTRO & VERSES:
e---------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------
G---------------------------------------
D--5--5--6--6--6----6--6----5-5-5-5/6-5-
A-8--8--8--8--8--0-4--4--0-3------------
D---------------------------------------REPEAT AS NECESSARY
CHORUS:
Note: this is not the exact strumming pattern, just the chords.
e-----------------------------
B-----------------------------
G-----------------------------
D-10-10-10-10-6-6-6-6-5-5-5-5-
A-8--8--8--8--6-6-6-6-5-5-5-5-
D-8--8--8--8--6-6-6-6-5-5-5-5-
The outro is the same as the intro, but drag out the last few notes a little and let the last note ring. There are a few simple 2nd guitar fills played over the verses and chorus that I left out cuz I'm tired, but they're not too hard to figure out. Like I said when I figure out the bridge I'll post it. Email me if u have any questions or comments.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official COLD tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
