Cracker - Low
One of rec.music.makers.guitar.tablature/alt.guitar.tab's most wanted.
Finally, I got off my duff and typed this in for your enjoyment. The words
are from Nevada. The chords are from the group. Mine is the riff, so mail me
if it's wrong - please.

Intro: D C E G with riff 1
[play riff 2 over chords]
D C E G
Sometimes I wanna take you down
Sometimes I wanna get you low
Brush your hair back from your eyes
Take you down let the river flow
[with riff 1]
Sometimes i go and walk the streets
behind a green sheet of glass
A million miles below the streets
A million miles, a million miles
D C E G
Being with you girl like being low
hey hey hey like being stoned
Being with you girl like being low
hey hey hey like being stoned
[same deal as before]
A million poppies gonna make me sleep
But just one rose that knows your name
The fruit is rusting on the vine
The fruit is calling from the trees
Hey hey dont you wanna go down
Like some disgraced cosmonaut
A million miles below the streets
A million miles a million miles
(chorus)
[solo]
Blue blue is the sun
Brown brown is the sky
Green green are her eyes
A million miles a million miles
Hey hey don't you wanna go down
Like some displaced cosmonaut
A million miles below the streets
A million miles a million miles
(chorus)
Riff 1: (time *very* approximated)
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------8-----
--7-9-9-9-----7-9-9-9-9------7-9-9-9-------7-9-9---7---
-------------------------------------------------------

Riff 2:
e-----10-\-/-10---
This is played on the high 'e' string. Pick the note then press trem bar
down and release. You'll get it!
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official CRACKER tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
