Song Name: Are You Ready?
Artist: Creed
Album: Human Clay
This is definitely my favourite piesce of Creed music to play,
especially the bridge. I have done the best I can with some of the
chords, Mr. Tremonti seems to enjoy playing with our minds on this
count, it sounds like one chord at first listen, then you hear some
stray note that doesn't fit and you have to rethink it all. Any
feedback at all would be appreciated. I have put "?" underneath any
part I am unsure of.
The whole song uses one guitar (although on the record the is the odd
over-dubbed bit of feedback etc.).
Abbreviations I have used:
h = hammer on p = pull off
b = bend (up to the next note tabbed) eg 5b7 is full bend, finger on
fret 5 r = release bend
s = slide pm = palm muting /\/\ = vibrato

Chorus
Going into the chorus is a chord that is played instead of the last
bar of the main riff. I *think* it is 11123x. It's an unholy
abomination, but I can hear the D and the A plucked seperately at
times, and the bass is playing Eb, so this is my best guess...

I'm not sure about that bit, but it's a good approximation of the
mucking around he does on the basic D chord.
It goes back to the verse after the first chorus, then to the chorus
again, then to the bridge. Again I'm not entirely sure of the
peripheral notes played around the D chord, but I have the basic
notes right. You might find some extras, or a different way to play
it, but the notes are correct.

in the distortion and play again 4 times, then go to...

Then move back to the chorus, and finish with figure A four times,
the last time with wah-wah, and let that last chord ring and feedback
That's as good as I know how to play it.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official CREED tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
