To make this easier, I'll just call the last 3 chords up there A?,G?,and
F? and use p's for pauses.

Play this part 4 times. At the end, strum an open E chord instead of
playing the Eadd9.

Back to Intro. Play only 1st half, then back and forth between
G? and F? for 8 measures
3rd Chorus
End is 1st half of chorus, then F? till ending on E
That's It!! :)
1st Verse
I know a town where people are running
Away from life it seems always funny
They think they are smart, don't doubt what they say
Scared of a change, existing only to
Chorus
Bring me down, bring me down, yeah!
Bring me down, bring me down
2nd Verse
Thoughtless in heart, desperate in honesty
Failed from the start, wasted and suffering
Supply them their drugs, just don't take them away
Scared of a change, existing only to
Chorus
3rd Verse
I don't feel like I should even worry about you
But I take the time and you push me away
I don't care too much no more, I always seem to waste my breath
Go my own way.... YEAH!
Chorus (repeat till end)
Tehcnical stuff:
It may be easier (if your hands are big enough) to use your thumb
for the bass notes on the low string. Doing this gave me the idea that
if you don't play the bass note, all you have to do is slide an open E
chord back and forth, which is fine if you're playing in a band with a
bass. Have Fun :)!!
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official DAYS OF THE NEW tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
