INTRO: Am/C/F/E

During the Verse, You play: Am/G/G/Am
VERSE:
If you gave me just a coin for every time we say goodbye
Well I'd be rich beyond my dreams, I'm sorry for my weary life
I know I'm not perfect but I can smile
and I hope that you see this heart behind my tired eyes
If you tell me that I can't, I will, I will, I'll try all night
And if I say I'm coming home, I'll probably be out all night
I know I cann be afraid but I'm alive
and I hope that you trust this heart behind my tired eyes.
--------------------------
Chorus:
Am C F E
I'm no angel, but please don't think that I won't try and try
Am C F E
I'm no angel, but does that mean that I can't live my live.
Am C F E
I'm no angel, but please don't think that I can't cry.
Am C F E
I'm no angel, but does that mean that I can't fly.
--------------------------
VERSE 2: (see chords above)
I know I'm not around each night
and I know I always think I'm right.
I can believe that you might look around.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official DIDO tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
