G# C C# D# C#
I think I'll go for a walk outside the sun is out it's a beautiful day

I love to feel the wind in my hair and the sun on my face
G# C C# D# C#
Cheap thrills come easy these days at least that's what I'm told
G# C C# D# C#
Well it sure beats watching T.V. and just sitting around growing old
F C F C
Can't help but smile when I'm on Happy Street
F C D#
Big rows of houses and concrete
(hardcore, same chords as other verse)
I think I'll go outside for a walk, it's a nice day, the sun is shining
The birds chirp and the grass grows green,
the clouds above me have a silver lining
I think I'll take a nap underneath my favorite tree
Sometimes it's the simple things in life that make me happy
F C F C
Can't help but smile when I'm on Happy Street
F C D#
Big rows of houses and concrete
G# D# G# D#
Maybe you care, maybe you don't
F D# C#
Just don't think too much
G# D# G# D#
Maybe you care, maybe you don't
F D# C#
Just don't think too much
repeat ska-ish part, then repeat hardcore intro part, then ska-ish part again
(ska)
I think I'll sleep here all day until the sun goes down tonight
So if you pass me on the street don't wake me up, I'm alright
I wonder if someone out there somewhere shares with me today
The joys of Happy Street and feeling like a king
chorus - ska until "concrete" then switches to hardcore... repeat "maybe you
care", then repeat hardcore-ish intro riff really fast, then end.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official DIESEL BOY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
