"United Kingdom Rest In Peace" - DODGY
Am Em
Dry as you are, creep old leaves, snip out your pram no longer breathes
Am G
Your frequency’s faint to my nose, wish I could paint what no longer grows
Am Em
Where you stood is a mystery to me, the ‘deca-nation’ is all I see
Chorus :
Dm
I’m beginning to understand
G
I’m getting wiser every day
C Dm
This country is not United and the Kingdom’s past away
G C
Shall we start all over again, I don’t know, I don’t know
Bleaching light of the moon, clears just streets into my room
The dark cloak of paranoia feels one just to annoy you
Stop longing for how it used be, stop looking for how it’s gonna be
Chorus
Am Em
The keys of time in, don’t do what they want
Am Em
No matter what you’re revealing, don’t do what they want.
Am Em
Don’t get low , don’t let go (12 times)
Don’t get low, don’t let go !
Don’t get low, don’t let go !
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official DODGY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
