Elisa
New Kiss from the album Pipes and flowers
INTRO F G
F G
I don't wanna hear another plastic love song
F G
And I don't need no more triviality
Am G
Cause I know there is more
F
That love could be
G F
But you know that's not to say that I know just what I want out of life
G
It doesn't mean that I feel hopeful everyday I'm alive
Am G F
But when you smiled at me I felt many things
Like lust and fear and dreams
-Bridge-
C
And though it could hurt I've gotta try it anyway
F
When the door is flung wide open you don't stay inside your room all day
Am
You go where there's a chance of losing the awful empty lie
F G
That it's better not to need anyone than to take the crazy uncertain ride
-Chorus-
C Bb
And it's a new kiss and I'm flying out there
F G
A great kiss and I'm crying in the streets
C Bb
It's a killer kiss under a friendly rain
F Bb F G
Hear me now sell me joy and pain
Bb F C
But at the best price you can
I don't know much more than your first name
But I might stick around till I know everything
Because who we could be remains to be seen
Is it the joke now or the dream
And I like the new beginning the slow show and tell
Sometimes I think the expectation is sweeter than the love itself
It's alright I'm gonna take my time I'm gonna take your mistery
You know it's simple don't you try to ignore take your freedom when
you're given the key
Like a new kiss and I'm flying out there
A great kiss and I'm crying in the streets
It's a killer kiss under a friendly rain
Hear me now sell me joy and pain
But at the best price you can
Like a new kiss and I'm flying out there
A great kiss and I'm crying in the streets
It's a killer kiss under a friendly rain
Hear me now sell me joy and pain
Like a new kiss and I'm flying out there
A great kiss and I'm crying in the streets
It's a killer kiss under a friendly rain
Hear me now sell me joy and pain

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official ELISA tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
