For the verse, it's just the chords, without the added notes, same rythm:
Am C
Hey now, all you sinners,
G
Put your lights on
Fmaj7 E
Put your lights on
like that for the rest of the verses:
Hey now, all you lovers,
Put your lights on,
Put your lights on,
Hey now, all you killers,
Put your lights on, put your lights on
Hey now, all you children,
Leave your lights on, (pick up) You better
Leave your lights on
Chorus:
The chorus is just a bunch of Am chords followed that line by an E chord, like below
For the chorus, all the Am chords are done like they were in the intro, going to the
A suspended
Am
'Cause there's a monster,
E
Livin' under my bed
Am E
A-whispering in my ear, (pick up) and there's an
Am E
Angel, with her hand on my head
Am E
She say I got nothin' to fear
Am E
There's a darkness, Livin' deep in my soul
Am E
It's still got a purpose to serve
So let your light shine, deep into my home,
And God don't let me lose my nerve,
Don't let me lose my nerve.
(Bridge)
For the bridge, you car bar the whole chord, or just play the lowest four notes, either
way works.
Play 4x, but at the end of the 4th, hold the chord out and switch between it and the
one before it a couple of times:
E|-5-5----8--8----3-3----1-1----0
B|-5-5----8--8----3-3----1-1----0
G|-5-5----9--9----4-4----2-2----1
D|-7-7---10-10----5-5----3-3----2
A|-7-7---10-10----5-5----3-3----2
E|-5-5----8--8----3-3----1-1----0
And the rest of the song is pretty much like the start

And the bridge is beyond me, though I'm working on it. After that, it's pretty much like the beginning.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official EVERLAST tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
