Song: My Perfect Day
Artist: Feeder
Album: Polythene (Track 2)
Words and Music by Grant Nichols
Transcribed By Michael Jackson
Tuning: (Low to High) DADGBE
Intro:
(Weird Pick Scrape Noises w/dist. and possibly a touch of delay) then goes
into this:
E|------------- -------------
B|------------- -------------
G|------------- and -------------
D|------------- -------------
A|------------- -------------
D|-0--0-0-0-0-0 -4--4-4-4-4-4
this also acts as the verse and interludes
for pre-chorus play full chords instead of single notes
add a little more distortion and play the high strings as well
Chorus:
E|-
B|-
G|-7-9-11-14
D|-5-7-9--12
A|-5-7-9--12
D|-5-7-9--12
For Solo just play the intro/verse/interlude guitar part.
listen to the recording for strum patterns and the way the chorus
chords go. i'm too lazy to tab out the last chord pattern. i don't
know the solo as of yet. if i ever figure it out, i will try and
update this thing. i just know he cuts some of the distortion out
of his signal and puts either a delay or flange effect on it.
any questions just e-mail me at: blacklung34@hotmail.com
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official FEEDER tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
