A while back I requested a TAB of this song, but got no response. I'll post
a couple of alternative TABs for the main riff the way I play it, then I'll
give you the lyrics. Note that these TABs are imperfect, but they are a
reasonable approximation. If anyone has a better way to play this, PLEASE
send it in!
The song is really just two riffs: Riff 1 is played with all the verses,
and Riff 2 is played during the chorus. I'll give Riff 1, and I'll work out
Riff 2 sometime soon, unless someone scoops me. The solo is not difficult,
so I'll also work out the TAB for that when I have time.

brackets. I have no idea what he says at the end of verse 2, so I just
filled in with something approximate. Once again, if anyone finds mistakes
here, please correct me.)
ALL RIGHT NOW - Free (1970)
There she stood in the street
Smilin' from her head to her feet.
I said hey what is this now baby maybe
Maybe she's in need of a kiss.
I said a-hey, what's your name baby?
Maybe we can see things the same.
Now don't you wait, don't hesitate
Let's move before they raise the parking rate
(CHORUS)
All right now, baby it's all right now
All right now, baby it's all right now
Let me tell you now, mmm...
I took her home to my place
Watching every move on her face.
She said look, what's your game baby?
Are you tryin to put me in shame?
I said slow, don't go so fast
Don't you think that love can last?
She said love, Lord above,
Now you're tryin' to trick me in love.
CHORUS
SOLO
Let me tell you all about it now...
Took her home to my place
Watching every move on her face.
She said look, what's your game?
Are you tryin to put me in shame?
Baby I said slow, slow, don't go so fast
Don't you think that love can last?
She said love, Lord above,
Now you're tryin' to trick me in love.
CHORUS (Repeat with vocal improvisations:)
We're so happy together...
Baby, baby, baby it's all right...
It's all right, it's all right, it's all right, everything's all right...
Hope you enjoy this; please send improvements, corrections.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official FREE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
