Song : River
Artist : Hanson
Album : 3 Car Garage
This transciption is a bit more detailed than the prior. It is a pinky
numb'er, that is, your pinky is 80% of the time on G. Isacc seems to play
only the top 3 three strings on this junk recording, but playing the full
chords sounds better.
(Chords Used) :
C [032010]
C/G [032013]
D [000232]
D/E [000230]
D/G [000233]
F/G [003213]
G [320003]
(Intro):
G C/G G C/G (repeat)
(Verse 1):
G C D
Lately we've been talkin' bout who we are
D/E G C/G
Seems we don't know anymore
G C
And all this time that we've been thinking
D D/E D/G D
At night I've been dreaming about you
(Bridge):
C/G F/G C/G F/G
And I know you don't believe me when I say
C/G F/G C/G F/G
I'll love you till the end, forever and a day,
(Chorus):
G C/G G C/G
And I guess we'll never know
G C/G G C/G
Exactly where this river's gonna flow
G C/G G C/G
And I guess we'll never understand
G C/G G C/G
Till we reach that promised land
D D/G D D/G
So I guess we'll
D D/G --silent--
So I guess we'll ...never know
(Repeat Intro)
(Verse 2):
G C
People say that we are sweethearts, they say nothing
D D/E D/G D
in the world that could tear us apart
G C
Well I don't know about you, but this thing
D D/E D/G D
we're going through is tearin me in two.
(Bridge)
(Chorus)
---The rest is just the intro and chorus riffs, and the standard
hanson "get funky" break down. Questions or comments please

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official HANSON tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
