Verse(with riff)
Songs when the truth are all dedicated to you
In this invisible world I choose to live in
B G#m
And if you believe that then now I understand

Why words mean so much to you, they'll never be about you.
B G#m
Maybe your young without youth, maybe your old without
E B
Knowing anything's true, I think your young without youth
Pre-Chorus
F# E G#m F#
Then you contract the American dream, and never look up once
F# E G#m F#
You've contracted American dreams, I recquire you to stop and look up
Chorus
B F# G#m E
Sing a song about myself, keep singing a song about myself
B F# G#m E
not some invisible world
B F# G#m E
Sing a song about myself, keep singing a song about myself
B F# G#m E
not some invisible world
Constantly searching to find something new
Bu what will you find when you think that nothing's true,
Maybe it's that nothing is new
SO you let me hear songs that were written all about you
The good songs weren't written for you, and they'll never be about you
Pre-Chorus (as before add "don't look up" at the end)
Chorus (as before)
Bridge
F# G#m B E
ANd I won't tell you what this means, Cos you already know
F# G#m B E
ANd I won't tell you what this means, Cos you already know so
Chorus
Ending (chorus chords)
(with backing vocals singing chorus)
You came along with a weak spot that you've always wanted
Let yourself be everything that you've always wanted
It doesn't have to be so excited, that you've always wanted
No need for explanations, you've always wanted
You'll find what you find when you find there's nothing
You'll find what you find when you find there's nothing
any mistakes, correct them yourself,I've done enough
Love Rob
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official IDLEWILD tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
