"Plummeting Through My Dreams" By Ignotus
Just what is it that I have become?
Just what is it that makes me?
Just why is it my mind has gone numb?
And why can I not breathe?
Just be yourself and you might see
What our world is like.
It's not easy to explain what is me
Oh God, why can't they see?
Just what is it that makes someone humane?
What it is I do not understand.
Just why is it my life has become numb?
Please tell me how to be a human.
Just be yourself and you might understand
How cruel all of our lives are.
I cannot not explain what I want to see
Oh God, just who is me?
Just what is it that makes us all strive to fit in?
Just what is it that separates me?
Just why is it my life is always changing?
And why is it that it has never changed?
Just learn to be yourself hopefully you will see
Maybe you will turn out a better person than me.
It is not simple to explain why I'm me
Oh God, please save me.
All I ever wanted was to live my life,
But I don't understand my life at all.
All I ever wanted was to have you,
But I don't even want that at all.
Did I really just jump off of this bridge?
Why can I not feel myself fall?
Is this a dream?
Please, god, say this is a dream.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official IGNOTUS tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
