This song is original
A5 E5
You haven’t heard it all before
This song’s not about love and peace but
It’s not about death and war
This song wasn’t written
to idolise anyone
This song doesn’t have a meaning but
It wasn’t written for fun
Chorus:
G5 A5
This song is mine, it took me time
E5
So listen
You’ll hear it when you won’t hear it again
So do
This song was made to last
It’s not gonna go away
This song won’t get stuck in your head
You’ll forget it sometime today
This song wasn’t simple to write
The lyrics were done twice
This song isn’t about Satan but
It’s not about Jesus Christ
This song’s not on the radio
It’s not gonna be on TV
This song won’t be played again
So you’ll have to listen to me
This song has no morals but
If you’re listening anyway
This song won’t get around
You won’t hear of it another day

This song wasn’t written for drunks
But if you’re sober you’ll lend me your ears
This song won’t bring you an angel
But it won’t chase away your fears
This song’s lyrics wont cost you money
And the music comes for free
This song isn’t just nothingness
You can hear it so it has to be

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official INNOCENT BYSTANDERS tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
