E A B
You only call me if you're feeling blue.
E A B
You tell me I don't pay attention to you.
E C#m
But if you only knew just what I'm going through,
A B
You wouldn't phone those guys who mess around with you, girl.
E A B
When I call you I get stacks of lies.
E A B
You whip them out before you dry your eyes.
E C#m
I'm not a ???? machine, a nineteen-sixties dream.
A B
????????????????????????????????????????????????
C#m F#m
You're not unreadable, you're not unbeatable.
A B
I know just what you are. Don't push your luck too far.
C#m F#m
You're not untouchable, not just another girl.
A B
I'd get in touch with you, I only wish you knew that
E A B E
I've got your number written on the back of my hand.
A B E
I've got your number written on the back of my hand.
A B E
I've got your number written on the back of my hand.
A B E
I've got your number.
I had a dream I had another girl
But in the morning she was just ????????
I hope I'm getting through the interference to
My money's running out, I don't know what to say now.
The operator's saying cut the line
You want to call here for the very last time.
You're only young at heart, but there's a time to start
Just realizing what I've got down here, girl.
(chorus)
guitar solo over:

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official JAGS tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
