SHE'S A STAR - JAMES
Tabbed by Steve K (Worked out to be played on the acoustic guitar.
I've added some optional bits I thought sounds nice) * = optional
>From the album: "Whiplash"
Intro: G [3 x 0 0 3 3] G/Gb [2 x 0 0 3 3] Cadd9 [x 3 x 0 3 3]
Dsus4 [x 0 0 2 3 3] D* [x 0 0 2 3 2] (x3)
The first 2 chords of the intro build it up like the original,
it sounds good. I.E down strokes on the E A and D strings only.
Don't worry about the A string its deadened anyhow. And like
the original when the drums kick in strum with it until the
Cadd9 and carry on as normal with the typical rhythm.
Tab for the other chords :- A7sus4 [x 0 2 0 3 3] Em/D [0 2 2 0 3 3]

Additional options :-
Try slowing the song down and change the rhythm to suit.
Put a bit more feeling into it, I've tryed this with the chords
I've worked out and it also sounds good.
Theres another version archived by Dan Taylor which finalised my
research on this song try them both and see what you think.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official JAMES tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
