>Note: You'll need a CAPO on 3rd fret to play the accoustic parts of the
>song. The CAPO is not used by Martin Barre, BUT if you want to play this
>song alone (I guess some of you will!), you can easyly figure out that
>this is possible, even in the solo (remember to play the first few notes
>on the B string, then).
>
>I tryed to contact the previous persons who made efforts and contributions
>to this song, but got an error from their mail servers... Let me know what
>you thing you guys!!!

>with
> lighter gauge strings and tuned one octave higher than normal.
>| = bar separating measures
>~ = vibrato

> Notes with two designations immediately adjacent to each other
> have durations added (e.g., he = half note + eigth note, etc.)

>String lines: Represent the strings of a guitar. The tab is laid
> out as if you placed a right handed guitar on your
> lap, string side up. A vertical line character "|"
> represents a bar between measures. A dash "-" represents
> each string. The numbers indicate which fret should
> be fingered to sound the note. The first space after
> every bar is a blank space that is almost never used.
> Quarter notes are separated by 3 dashes, eighth notes
> are separated by 1 dash. In an effort to make the
> ASCII tab look as much like tab in a music book, the
> notes are spaced out as accurately as possible. In the
> event the notes will not fit into the format shown above,
> the tab will be expanded (usually only required for
> solos).

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official JETHRO TULL tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
