VERSE: Am G C
Cutting through the darkest night are my two headlights
Trying to keep it clear,
but I’m losing it here to the twilight
There’s a dead end to my left
There’s a burning bush, to my right
You aren’t in sight
You aren’t in sight
PRECHORUS:
C Am G
Do you want me
C Am G
Like I want you?
CHORUS:
G C
Or am I standing still
Am G
Beneath the darkened sky?
G C
Or am I standing still
Am G
With the scenery flying by?
G C
Or am I standing still
Am G
Out of the corner of my eye?
Am G
Was that you passing me by?
VERSE: Am G C
Mother’s on the stoop
Was in souped up coupe summer’s hot summer night
Between fire and flight is the Blind man’s sight
and a choice that’s right
I roll the window down
feel like I’m gonna drown in this strange town
I feel broken down
I feel broken down
PRECHORUS:
C Am G
Do you need me
C Am G
Like I need you?
CHORUS:
G C
Or am I standing still
Am G
Beneath the darkened sky?
G C
Or am I standing still
Am G
With the scenery flying by?
G C
Or am I standing still
Am G
Out of the corner of my eye?
Am G
Was that you passing me by?

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official JEWEL tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
