Tuning: 1/2 step down (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb)
I just put the main parts you can understand. Since
Jimi changes the psychotic madness with the whammy
each time I'm not going to really put down the parts where
he goes of on the 'solos'. This is just like he plays it though.
With all the extreme bends and vibrato! Also, Jimi uses a lot of
feedback in various areas in this version.
Tab Key =
b = full step bend or more
v = vibrato (with the whammy bar or with your fingers)
~ = let note ring or sustain
h = hammer on
p = pull off
/slide up
\slide down
· = use the wah pedal if you want to (sounds pretty cool)
· = Whenever you se bv~ that means a very rapid bend and
vibrato to get a whammy bar sound. And you should go
off every now and then into some heavy feedback solo
kind of thing. Listen to his version to get the idea
of how to improve this stuff.

This below is a cool little slide. The v = whammy bar vibrato.
7/9bv = is a quick slide from 7 to 9 then bend and vibrate.

Then 7bvv is a very whammy sounding bend you do with your fingers.

-0brbrbrbrbrbrvvvvv--|This last bar is a very extreme bend & vibrato with the

---------------------|down and release the strings behind the nut rapidly to get
---------------------|the effect. It’s easier than it sounds.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official JIMI HENDRIX tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
