Intro
(1) We've got the afternoon
You've got this room for two
One thing I've left to do
Discover me discovering you
(1) One mile to every inch of
your skin like porcelain
One pair of candy lips
and your bubblegum tongue
(2) And if you want love
we'll make it
Swimming a deep sea
of blankets
take all your big plans
and break 'em
this is bound to be a while
(3) Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder I'll use my hands
Your body is a wonderland
(1) Something about the way the hair falls in your face
I love the shape you take when crawling towards the pillow case
You tell me where to go though I might leave to find it
I'll never let your head hit the bed without my hand behind it
(2) You want love
we'll make it
Swimming a deep sea
of blankets
Take all your big plans
and break 'em
this is bound to be awhile
(3) Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder I'll use my hands
(4) Damn, baby
You frustrate me
I know you're mine all mine all mine
but you look so good it hurts sometimes
(3) Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonder I'll use my hands
Your body is a wonderland
Your body is a wonderland
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official JOHN MAYER tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
