Song: Below The Stars
Artist: King Cobb Steelie
Tabbed by: Rob Miller (arcane@sk.sympatico.ca)

A fairly simple bass-riff to this song, besides some solos in certain
parts. It sounds pretty cool, though, and the song has a very haunting
feel to it. The song is the MAIN RIFF repeating, then RIFF A four
times, then a DJ/drum solo (no bass), then the MAIN RIFF.
Listen to the song for the timing.
MAIN RIFF (played throughout song):
G||---------------------------------------------------------
D||---------------------------------------------------------
A||----3-3\2-----------3-3-------3-3\2-----------3-3--------
E||----------222222/3-----33333--------222222/3------33333--
The slides up & down are very quick, and aren't really pronounced.
Like I said, they're really quick. Though a slide sounds good for
the first of these, a bend sounds as good, if not better, in place
of the second slide.
RIFF A:
G||-----------------------------
D||----------444---4-----444---- X 4
A||---3---------3---3-4-----3-2-
E||-----3-2---------------------
After the DJ/drum solo, go back to the MAIN RIFF.
Enjoy!
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official KING COBB STEELIE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
