KING DIAMOND - "the trial" Tablature
Official KING DIAMOND Tablature & Sheet Music »
----------o----------
King Diamond's The Trial (Chambre Ardente) on the album The Eye.
Very good song. Has a lot of spirit, tempo changes and diff'rent rhythm.
Relativelay easy to play, so if you're a beginner and want to play
a King Diamond Song, this is the best song to learn (you'll improve
many skills in trying to play it)!
That's Rhythm 1
E |---------------|-----------------|---------------|--------------|

When King Diamond begins to sing, play Rhythm 1 then (Rhythm 3) :

After that, play the rhythms above in that order : Rhythm 2, 1, 3, 1.
Now for the first solo :

By the way, I'll call the rhythm under the first solo : RHYTHM 4
And Here's the 5th Rhythm played 3 times (The last time, play only the 2 first
bars)
E |-----------------|-----------------|-------------|-------------|
B |-----------------|-----------------|-----------8-|-----------8-|

(*) Take Care of that G5 chord, I find it very hard to do. Here's a
tip : upstrike it! If you still are unable to strike it in time,
try to take it on the A string at fret 10, it's easier but doesn't
sound the same.
Rhythm 6 (2 times):
E |------------|------------|------------|---------------|
B |------------|------------|------------|---------------|
G |---------3--|---------3--|---------5--|---4-------3---|

(*) There's lot of tremolo bar-harmonic-reverb-echo effect over this part.
Rhythm 7 :
E |-------------|-----------|------------|---------|
B |-------------|-----------|------------|---------|
G |-------------|-----------|------------|-------5-| <-- Very weird sounding

Rhythm 8, 2 times (King sings : "La Reymie is touching her....":

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official KING DIAMOND tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
