Here's another forgotten 80's classic. To play this song, you'll have to
Tune down a half step.
Here's the main verse riff. Be sure to pay attention to the rests in
between. That's what makes it such a badass riff!:
-----0------0--------------4--------------------------------2--3-2--------
---0------0---------2/3----5--5-3--5-----6-----6-5--7-----3-3--3-3--------
-1------2-----1-----3/4----4--4-2--5-----5-----5-4--7-----2-2--2-2--1-----
--------------2----------6---------5--------0x------7-----0-0--0-0--2-----
--------------2-----------------------------------------------------2-----
--------------0-----------------------------------------------------0-----
let ring
And here's the chorus. Repeat the first bar twice and then go to the
second.:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
-2-3--------------------------------0--1-0--------------------------------
-2-2----9--9\-----------------------0--0-0--0-----------------------------
-2-0-2--9--9\-------4-5-4-------------------0-----------------------------
-----2--7--7\-------4-5-4-------------------------------------------------
-----0--------0x-0x-2-3-2-0--0-2-3----------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
-2-3-3-2-------2---2-------3-3-2------------------------------------------
-2-2-2-2-4--4--2-4-2-------2-2-2-4--4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-----------------------
-2-0-0-2-4--4--2-4-2-2--2--0-0-2-4--4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-----------------------
---------2--2----2---2--2--------2--2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-----------------------
---------------------0--0-------------------------------------------------
After the second chorus, you go into the bridge. To lead into the bridge,
hang on the Bb for 3 extra beats following the chorus, and then play this
quick little ascending riff on the 5th string. The timing is a little
tricky. If you're counting off the beats one-and-two-and-three-and-four-
and, you should be hitting the open 5th string on the "three-and" of the
beat.:
----------------
----------------
-4-4-4-4--------
-4-4-4-4--------
-2-2-2-2-0-2-3--
----------------
Then comes the bridge itself. You just hang on each of these power
chords through eight beats. These chords are mostly palm muted, but on
the record, the guitarist does play a few of them straight. For the sake
of simplicity, I only listed each of these chords once, but in fact you
should keep hitting them throughout the bridge:
------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------
-6----------------------------------------------4-----
-6--------------7---------------4---------------4-----
-4--------------7---------------4---------------2-----
----------------5---------------2---------------------
Then comes the solo. I'm not a big fan of this song's solo so I didn't
Bother tabbing it out. Improvise something yourself, instead.
The rhythm guitar plays the main chorus riff throughout the solo. The
Solo ends with an ascending power chord riff repeated three times. On the
Third repetition, it goes straight into a riff repeated from the second
half of the chorus, like so:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------2---2-------3-3-2------------------------
-----4----------4----------4--4--2-4-2-------2-2-2-4--4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-----
-5-7-4------5-7-4------5-7-4--4--2-4-2-2--2--0-0-2-4--4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-----
-5-7-2------5-7-2------5-7-2--2----2---2--2--------2--2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-----
-3-5--------3-5--------3-5-------------0--0-------------------------------
After that, the main chorus riff repeats over and over again into the fade
out.
That's it. Have fun with it!

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official KIX tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
