LESSONS - "solos1" Tablature
Official LESSONS Tablature & Sheet Music »
I 've just read some tutorial about guitar playing and I thought I'd
put on some stuff to all of you out there.
It's not a tutorial but some solo pieces.
I've been playing the guitar for about 5 years, so you can trust me
I think... (I hope...)
The following pieces are from Heavy Metal songs, so you better
play them fast (and accurately as well!!!). I don't have a metronome,
so unfortunately I can't tell you the exact speed to every piece.
That's enough talking, let the music rule:
Explanations: P - pull off
H - hammer on
B - bend
R - release bend
/ - slide up
\ - slide down
^ - upstroke (the pick moves towards the sky. "Pull")
v - downstroke (the pick moves towards the ground. "Push")
BE CAREFUL WITH THE STROKE DIRECTION!!!

Wow, nice eh? In the descending part you don't have to pick much, but
your left hand (maybe the right) has enough work...
Be careful with the pull-offs, hammer-ons and the slides, they're
VERY important!

You can put in some vibrato where there are longer notes.
(Listen the original!)
Sorry, but I just can't draw the exact lenght for each note, but
it's easy to figure out I think.

Maybe later I'll put some more stuff onto the Net, just be patient, ok?

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP, representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are "hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the official LESSONS tablature which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route. These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the NY Times Article. We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
