Song: "I Alone"
Artist: Live
Album: Throwing Copper
Tabbed By: L.A.
The vast majority of Live's songs are tuned down 1/2 step. I wrote this tab
accordingly, but there's some funky stuff up with some of the notes that
don't sound exactly right like this. Oh well, see for yourself.
VERSE ***Dalheimer uses lots and lots of filler at the end of this riff,
which would take a long time to figure out and tab. Here's a common one:
Gb|--------| |-----------------------------|
Db|---0----| |---0---------------------0---|
Ab|-----3--| |-----3==0h3-0h3--3/5-------3-|
Eb|-4------| |-4---------------------4-----|
LEAD UP to CHORUS "and leave you there by yourself..."
Gb|---------------------|
Db|---------------------|
Ab|--/14--14--14--14-10-|
Eb|---------------------|
CHORUS (x3) then:
Gb|-------------|---------------------------------------|
Db|-------------|---------------------------------------|
Ab|-------------|---------------------------------------|
Eb|-1-1-1/8-4-4-|-4/6-66-6/8-88-8/10-10-10-10/11-11-11--|
BRIDGE (this is the part that sounds a little funky w/ this tuning)
Gb|------------------------------------------|
Db|------------------------------------------|
Ab|------------------------------------------|
Eb|-8h10-10-10-10--8h10-10-10--8h10h11p10-8--|

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official LIVE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
