House on Pooh Corner
Kenny Loggins
House on Pooh Corner-Kenny Loggins (tune guitar in E-flat)
[F]Christopher [C]Robin and [F]Owl walked along
under [Bflat]branches lit [C]up by the [F]moon [F] [C]
[F]Buzzing out [C]questions to [F]Owl and Eeyore
as our [Bflat]days disa-[C]-ppear all too [F]soon
Well I’ve [Dm]wandered much [Am]further to-[F]-day then I [Am]should
And I [Bflat]can’t seem to find my way back to the [C]wood, So
[F]Help me [C]if you [Bflat]can I [F]gotta [C]get
[F]back to the [C]house on Pooh [Bflat]corner by [C]one
[F]You’d be sur-[C]-prised there’s so [Bflat]much to be [C]done [Bflat]
[Am]Count all the bees in the [F]hive, [Am]chase all the clouds from the [F]sky
[Bflat]Back to the [C]days of [F]Christopher [C]Robin and [Dm]Pooh
[F]Winnie the [C]Pooh doesn’t [F]know what to do,
got a [Bflat]honey jar [C]stuck on his [F]nose [F] [C]
[F]He came to [C]me asking [F]help and advise,
from [Bflat]here no one [C]knows where he [F]goes
So I [Dm]sent him to [Am]ask of the [F]Owl if he’s [Am]there,
How to [Bflat]loosen a jar from the nose of a [C]bear, So
[F]Help me [C]if you [Bflat]can I [F]gotta [C]get
[F]back to the [C]house on Pooh [Bflat]corner by [C]one
[F]You’d be sur-[C]-prised there’s so [Bflat]much to be [C]done [Bflat]
[Am]Count all the bees in the [F]hive, [Am]chase all the clouds from the [F]sky
[Bflat]Back to the [C]days of [F]Christopher [C]Robin and [Dm]Pooh

[F]It’s hard to ex-[C]-plain how a [F]few precious things
seem to [Bflat]follow through[C]out all our [F]lives [F] [C]
[F]After all’s said and [C]done I was [F]watching my son,
sleeping [Bflat]there with my [C]bear at his [F]side
So I [Dm]tucked him in, [Am]I kissed him, and [F]as I was [Am]goin’
I [Bflat]swear that ole bear whispered, “Boy, welcome [C]home”
(capo 1)

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official LOGGINS KENNY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
