MUSE - "dead star main riff" Tablature
Official MUSE Tablature & Sheet Music »
Artist: Muse
Track: Dead Star
Tabbed By Richard McCulloch on 19/05/02
Ok you can get the rest of this song from the other tab
on this site, with is all good and correct, except for
the main riff, which i've corrected in this tab. By main
riff i mean the cool bit thats not really the verse or
chorus, just a typical muse style thing, great song. Get
the other song that goes with this one (as it's a double A
side), which is called 'In Your World'. It kicks ass muchly.
If anybody tabs the finger tapping bit from that song could
they PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email it to me, or put it on this
site (preferably both). Cheers
The original tab is by Dave Curtis

MAIN RIFF
e|-----------------------------------
B|----------------------------------- JUST REPEAT THIS AS MANY TIMES AS
G|----------------------------------- NECESSARY, DEPENDING WHICH BIT OF
D|----------------------------------- THE SONG IT'S IN. LISTEN TO IT TO
A|-12-0-0-12-0-0-12-0-3-4-5-0-7-10--- GET THE RHYTHM.
D|-12-0-0-12-0-0-12-0-3-4-5-0-7-10---
Although I just got this by listening to the song, it sounds
perfect played at the same time, so i'm almost 100% sure it's
right.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official MUSE tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
