Wolf
-The Nadas
Em C G D (hold C)
All alone in the darkness sing your howl song
Night air is as empty as the day is long
All alone in the darkness you avoid the fire
You fear it'll pull you in
Instinct or desire
Spend your time in the outside where you can see your breath
Sit down on you honchess and try to get some rest
All you need is some shelter, place to sleep and a meal
Try again tomorrow for a better deal
And stare at the moon
Sing your howl song
Some day you will find somebody who will sing along
And stare at the moon
Sing your howl song
Some day you will find somebody who will sing along
You follow tracks in the snow made by whom you do not know
'Cause you are alone here and it's the lonliness you fear
You walk with an empty belly for food you have not known
Walk with false knowledge for things not shown and
You walk with these burdens, well they must weigh you down
But you are the king of the free be proud and wear, wear your crown
And stare at the moon
Sing your howl song
Some day you will find somebody who will sing along
And stare at the moon
Sing your howl song
Some day you will find somebody who will sing along
All alone in the darkness sing your howl song
Night air is as empty as the day is long
All alone in the darkness sing your howl song
Some day you will find somebody who will sing along now
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official NADAS tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
