Tabbed by George Kamps

Email me if you can add to/correct this please. It would be much appreciated.
This is just most of the basic riffs/chords.
Standard tuning.
Intro chords:
Play around with G and C power chords so that it sounds good. Slide up >from the
C power
chord at the end which leads into this neat riff:
Intro riff:
E--------------------------------------=|
B--------------------------------------=|
G-----0-------0-------0-------0--------=|
D-------0-------0-------0-------0------=|
A-------------------1-----1-3-----3----=|
E---3-----3-1-----1-----------------3--=|
This riff just keeps repeating itself
Then the chorus comes in at about 1:25 or so:
E-----------------|
B-----------------|
G-----------------|
D----8---10---5---|
A----8---10---5---|
E----6----8---3---|
Where the good times gone?
Where the good times gone?
Play that part twice.
E-------------|
B-------------|
G-------------|
D----8---10---|
A----8---10---|
E----6----8---|
All that stupid fun
All that shit we done
Play this part twice
E-----------------|
B-----------------|
G-----------------|
D----8---10---5---|
A----8---10---5---|
E----6----8---3---|
Where the good times gone?
Well I still don't know.
Play this only once this time
This brings us to about 1:52 or so. The chords in the next section are a
simple pattern of G, F, Bb, and C. I like to play them all as power chords
and slide from one to another, but that's my preference.
The next section begins at about 2:04.
This is just the opening riff played over the G, F, Bb, C progression.
The next section begins at about 2:29
E-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
G------3--------------------------------------3--3---5------------------|
D------3--------------------------------------3--3---5------------------|
A------1--------------------------------------1--1---3------------------|
E----------------------------------------------------3------------------|
You can bribe the devil, you can pray to God. You can sell off every..
The rest of the song is just repeating what's already tabbed out for you.
Enjoy.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official NICKELBACK tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
