strumming might be a lot different .. but the notes are right
first interlude is:
{D}--0-then-2-then-7-then-4 (single note picking style) (play 2x)
Next group of words follows a {D}--4--6--4--6 bar chord pattern
as soon as third group of words starts (pick up):
Bar progression: {D}--2--4--6--4 (at end of words arpeggiate another 2 for a
bit)
bridge around 3:13 is as follows (i think) and repeats 4x
(bridge has no words):
{D}--11--13--14--13h14p13---11-9-8-9-8---9-8-[9]-
(for backing guitar, use bar chords)
back to {D}--2--4--6--4 progression (softer this time)
After crescendo then interlude 2:
{D}--6--4--2--4 (2x before words begin)
then {D}--2--4--6--4 (also play 2x more after end of words)
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official NINE INCH NAILS tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
