"Straight From The Jacket" -- No Use For A Name
(Ever noticed how much this song sounds like Bad Religion's "Infected"?
Exact same chords and Tony Sly sounds like Greg Graffin with elastic
vocal chords. Small wonder NUFAN were called a "Rad Beligion" band by
some guy in a zine... which doesn't at all mean they suck. Both bands
kick ass.)
A F C G
So sorry son, you're worrying your mother
A F G E
No explanation's gonna make it seem all right
A F C G
Young boy listen to your father
A F A G
It's more than just your life, it's more than suicide
F G A G
How does it feel when you're looking down the barrel of a loaded gun?
A F C G
Tell me how it feels -- did you see your life flash right before your eyes
A F G E
Stop playing games and get yourself up off the floor
A F C G
Young boy we're gonna send you to the lions
A F A G
The men all dressed in white when you become undone
F G A G
How does it feel, well I might have brought you up but you are not my son
A F A F A F G E **
Tell me how it feels
(** this part is some kind of solo which I'm too lazy to tab but just
play these chords)
F E (low) A G
So many times I tried to bring you up you brought me down
F E A G
I won't consider you again
F E A G F
Stop looking at me like you care I worked my fingers to the bone
E A G
I'm not your father or your friend
F G
Well you might have lived here once but this is not your home
A (same part as before)
Tell me how it feels
(another verse which I forget)
F G C B
How does it feel ... how does it feel?
F G A G
How does it feel when you're looking down the barrel of a loaded gun
Note: This is not perfect, OK sue me.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official NO USE FOR A NAME tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
