OBITUARY - "Infected" Tablature
Official OBITUARY Tablature & Sheet Music »
** INFECTED
** off the album CAUSE OF DEATH
** by Obituary
** Transcribed by Kevin Phillips, kphill@iconz.co.nz
Well, I was pleased to get some reaction from my 'Cause of Death' tab,
and I was asked for INFECTED. So, I scanned through a huge wad of paper and
found a few pages of TAB. Note that Most of this could be wrong..
I don't have a Guitar to check all the riffs out (TAB is 4-5 years old!)
so I've been using Scream Tracker to experiment. The guitar effects
are nowhere as good as the real thing, but I guess most of it sounded right!
If you have tabbed it, corrected it or find any problems then gimme an email
with your questions, Tab or corrections. Thanks!
Until I get my Guitar back, I am almost Tabbed out, so don't ask for too many
more requests please!! (See my Tabs - Slayer/Death/Obituary/Sepultura on
Nevada or one of its mirrors!) I still have the odd bits of TAB around, though!
Enjoy!

LYRICS (yes..REALLY!)
----------------------
Someone asked me for the Lyrics (Urhm.. Hmm.. Tough job!) and I mentioned that I
had read an interview in some magazine where John Tardy said that he was more
a 'Vocal Instrument' and simply used words and noises that went with the songs.
I Thought this could be good for a laugh!! If you think up some other versions
let me know... Lets see who can get the closest!!!
** First Verse:
I believe below ("Rhye believe below??") (Who knows!)
we're getting the destiny
/My rotting soul
we pray it hides the soul
Living life will fall.
/Aaaarrggghhhh!!
The killing is anylee (?)
We're checking out to die
/The other side
We pray it hides the world
/Aaarrggghhhhhh!!! (Again!)
Living is only.. Live...
** Second Verse:
You love the soul
we're giving one to say
/I love the soul
we're dying now in pain
we're giving the soul
/Aaaaarrrrggghhhh!!
** Chorus: (This was Easy!!)
Kil-ling
Send you to your grave
dy-ing
soon with one the same
Tear-ing
rid you of your limbs
infected soon
infected
** Lead Guitar break, then
Peal-ling
Rid you of your skin
Infected
/Infected
Com-ing
Soon the end of life
Dy-ing
???? ??? ???? in fright
sharrrrrr!!!!!
Eaaa-aaarrr!!!!
Heh! Heh!! Now, That should keep a few of you amused!

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official OBITUARY tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
