Song: Change

Album: Boingo / Farewell Live

This is a chord representation of the song. There are several solos that I
will not be tabbing, it is sixteen minutes long. This should give you the
basic gist of the song. If anyone has the tab for the whole song send it
to Harmony Central and add it to the Oingo Boingo section of tab.
Verse 1
C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3
Don't you ever wonder why ...
E3 G#3
if it does it's for the worst ...
C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3
Sometimes when I take a peek ...
E3 G#3
everyone looks so asleep, ...
Pre-Chorus
A3 C#4 G#3
hey... don't ya know? ...
A3 C#4 G#3
hey... whaddya say? ...
Verse 2
C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3
Better dumb and happy than ...
E3 G#3
better cute and better loud ...
C#4 B3 B3 C#4 F#3
Keep up or be left behind ...
E3 G#3
seems I can't see straight these ....
Pre-Chorus
A3 C#4 G#3
hey... don't you know? ...
A3 C#4 G#3

Chorus
C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4
oh god here's that ...
C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4
the one that makes ...
C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4
I'd gladly tear ...
C#4 B3 B3 C# F4 F4
if you would never, never, ...
Just to clarfiy, the octave number given are simply to show relativity. (ie,
between F#3 and F4), as the song is played on the lowest octave on the guitar.
This small riff is used throughout the song and can be used for the slowed
down tempo in the interlude section of the song. Good basis for the solos.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official OINGO BOINGO tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
