Lyrics and Chords:
A
I'm a guy who puts pins in candy
D E
when it's Halloween
A
'Cause I like to watch those little children
D E
bleed, and bleed, and bleed, and bleed, and...
A
I put the poison inside the
D E
aspirin
A
Normal people would consider this
D E
to be a mortal sin, but...
CHORUS:
A
Death and Destruction
D E
are things I like to see
A
Death and Destruction
D E
have become a part of me!
A
I go to work at the Post Office
D E
my life is full of glee
A
I pull out my Uzi
D E
and watch my co-workers flee
A
I hijacked a bus full of
D E
gray-haired retirees
A
I drove them up to Canada
D E
instead of the Florida Keys, oh...
repeat chorus
F#m
...and then come happy times
D E
when my life is full of ease
F#m
oh, yes, happy times
D E
when everyone smiles at me
BUT THEN THE VOICES SAY
A
Death and Destruction
D E
are what you're going to be
A
Death and Destruction
D E A
have become a part of me.
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official PATHETICA tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
