This song, like all Pavement songs, sounds as if it's tuned alternately
because of all the extra notes in chords, but here is my version of Unfair...best I can do anyway.

For the part after the break, just fool around with the higher octaves and notes.
You can hear the bass playing extra notes too at the outro, if you want to play them on the guitar they're E(play open E then slide to 12th fret), A, and B
Like I said, this isn't exact because there might be more to the chords than what i put here, and Malkmus is probably tuned alternately, but these are pretty much the correct notes.
Sorry if this sucks, but when I pretend to be a rock star in my room, this is what I play when I play along with it.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official PAVEMENT tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.

We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
