This is one of my favorite Phish basslines. Definitely
funky. This is only the structured part of the song. The
rhythm isn't that hard to figure out if you have a
recording.

This is played four times before the walk-up part. I add
the muted slap for a little variety, but you could keep
repeating the first half of the pattern if you want to.
Walk-Up:

After the walk-up is played, the whole thing is repeated and
the second time around it goes into a jam. After the jam is
over, it comes back to the original pattern, except
everything moves up 3 frets (including the walk-up).
Note: this is my first time putting tab on the net, and I
would appreciate any feedback. If you find this useful,

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official PHISH tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.

We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
