1000x No!, by Pop Will Eat Itself
[===============================================]
..Tabbed out by myself.
This is the incredible PWEI's 1000x No!. I know there's no bass in here, but
I love this song, and there is keyboard.. so, here's the keyboard transcribed
for bass. Still sounds nice.
Riff 1:
G:|---------------------| To play this properly, you need a 5-string
D:|---------------------| bass, which I'm currently without. This is as
A:|---------------------| close as you can get with a 4-string, and does
E:|-0-2--2-0-2--0-0-0-0-| not sound half bad..
Riff 2:
G:|-----------------| Here is the part played during "What do we want?
D:|-----------------| Respect!"
A:|--------2--------|
E:|-5-2222---2-3-0--|
Riff 3:
G:|-----------------------------| This is played for "10x 10x 10x no,
D:|-----------------------------| a no go to go slow.."
A:|-------33-----------x32------|
E:|-202x2---35---202x2----3-----|
Riff 4:
G:|---------------| You can play this after he says "Sure cert, the
D:|------2--------| town's on red alert" and it will sound alright.
A:|-2323---1212-5-| ( It's the bit that's behind the piano.. )
E:|---------------|
Riff 5:
G:|-------------------------| This is played during "Just gotta say no!
D:|-------------------------| Just gotta scream!"
A:|-------------------------|
E:|-2-0---2-0---2-0---2-0-2-|
The whole song should be easy to piece together from here.. Have fun with it!

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official POP WILL EAT ITSELF tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
