Artist: Primus
Album: Frizzle Fry
Song: Frizzle Fry
Guitar transcribed by CAM.
Again, a more accurate tab for this song. Just watch Ler
play and many secrets are revealed.
Here's the basic outline for Frizzle Fry. The tab doesn't
follow the beat or strum pattern, so like all my other
Primus tabs, it helps to play along with the song.
Start the guitar section by fading the volume up.
h =hammer on
p =pull off
b =bend string up
r =release bend
/ =slide up
\ =slide down
x =muted string strike
For the intro, and most other parts of the song,let
the D string ring.
Intro:

E-----4-5----1-----4-5----2-----4-5----3-----4-5---4h5-4h5---
The solos follow a pattern similar to the intro riff. Repeat
chorus a couple times, then before next bridge, follow this:

G---------------------------------------------------------7--
D--6-----6-----6-----6-----6-----6-----6-----6-----6------6--
A---------------------------------------------------------5--
E------------------------------------------------------------
The second solo goes crazy, then peaks after a scale and moves
into a double-fast riff of Bridge#1. Repeat that a few times
and end on the 4th fret of the low E string.

This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official PRIMUS tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
