Song: She hates me
Artist: Puddle of Mudd
Album: Come clean
Tabbed by: Sharkmark (ironbird@gmx.net)
Words and music by Wes Scantlin (I think)
It's my first tab, so don't be too strict...but it's all my own work!
This song only consists only of four Chords, which are played open in the
verses and as
power chords in the chorus
These chords are:
E A F#m B
e ------ --0-- ----- --2--
b --0--- --2-- --2-- --4--
g --1--- --2-- --3-- --4--
d --2--- --2-- --4-- --4--
a --2--- --0-- --4-- --2--
E --0--- ----- ----- -----
or as powerchords (really complex things...):
E5 A5 F#5 B5
e ----- ----- ----- -----
b ----- ----- ----- -----
g ----- --2-- ----- --4--
d --2-- --2-- --4-- --4--
a --2-- --0-- --4-- --2--
E --0-- ----- --2-- -----
And it goes like this:
1st Verse
* Pick the chords, don't strum them
E A F#m B
Met a girl, thought she was grand...
1st Chorus:
* Palm muted Powerchords without distortion
E5 A5 F#5 B5
She fucking hates me...
2nd Verse:
* For better understanding, i'll write the complete verse lyrics here
E A F#m B
She was queen for about an hour
after that she got sour...
she took all i ever ...
* then kick in distortion and play power chords
E5 A5 F#5 B5
In a trapped trap i can't grip
never thought....
2nd chorus:
* as above, but with distortion and a very loud and angry voice!
The 3rd Verse and Chorus work like the second
* For the "outro" just keep on playing the power chords with heavy
distortion
E5 A5 F#5 B5
la la la la la la la la laaaa ... trust!
* It's a very easy song in my opinion ... so keep cool and practice it

So long, Sharkmark
This musical interpretation has been removed due to a legal threat from Moses & Singer LLP,
representing the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) and
The Music Publisher's Association of the United States (MPA).
Unfortunately, these threats are fueled by greed and being masked by a "copyright infringement." They claim tab sites are
"hurting the songwriters," but it's a known fact that the publishing companies garner most of the
revenue. Instead, they would prefer you to purchase the
official PUDDLE OF MUDD tablature
which is an option we've always given our users. And due to the highly error-prone nature of tabs on the internet, many choose to go this route.
These companies also do not realize that tablature sites help to promote their artists.
For more information on this onslaught, you can read the
NY Times Article.
We hope one of the larger tablature sites will have the money to fight this. Until then, we urge you all to keep tabbing songs and sharing them in any way you can.
